Denver @ the Rapids Game

Ezri went to her first major sporting event – a Colorado Rapids game.
The weather was sunny and mild.
The soccer was fun to watch in small doses between trips around the stadium to check things out.

Ezri learned to say “boo!” at the officials’ poor calls and was delighted to find a place where screaming with her outside voice was appropriate and even encouraged. When the crowd screamed Ezri joined in. Although, I think she only barely understood that two teams were competing, she definitely got that when everyone else yelled and clapped she could too.

The stadium had a stand selling mini donuts which you could watch being made. And if you are two pregnant ladies with a toddler, they seem to give you lots of extra donuts. Yum!

The Rapids have 4 mascots and a pizza stand with a giant pizza man mascot out front. Ezri got to meet Edson the Eagle. She gave him high fives, fist bumps, and chased him down later to give him a hug.

Our party of five (or eight with fetuses) had a good time at the game.
Can you tell which of us is having twins?
Okay, she’s also 5 weeks more pregnant.
In my humble opinion, we look pretty fabulous.
