Despite being nothing like princess dresses worn by the Disney Frozen character Elsa, Ezri declared that she was Elsa in this costume. She was overjoyed to find and have her photo taken with her sister, Anna. This cosplayer was very nice to the many young kids who wanted to talk to her and take photos with her. Her costume was homemade and pretty excellent.

Other Frozen moments at the C2E2 event and proof that Ezri isn’t the only Frozen fangirl in attendance:
A girl in a blue dress with white wig and dragon stuffed toys declares herself to be Elsa, Mother of Dragons. Her dad shrugs and says he and his daughter didn’t agree on the best costume for the white braided wig she’s wearing. They compromised and combined characters.
Another girl who was at the front of a signing line where a comic book artist was drawing little sketches for the kids. Her dad tries to convince the girl to get one of the characters the artist is known for drawing, she pouts and says she wants Elsa from Frozen. The dad begins to speak again. The artist holds up a hand and says “I can do Elsa” and draws her a super cute Elsa caricature. Girl squeezes it to her chest. Dad thanks the artist. Everyone wins!

We colored our eggs with Meghan and then added happy sticker faces. It makes them harder to eat, but we’re managing.
April 22nd, 2014 — Ezri speaks

Quotes from Ezri
“I am smelling all the daffodils. You might think it would be boring doing the same thing over and over. But it isn’t. It keeps your nose full of sweetness.”
“Maybe if I am really good in the dentist’s chair, he will give me floss. . . as a special prize.” She was good enough to also score a new toothbrush and a Tinkerbelle sticker.
Playing “Elsa’s Rodeo Bookstore” with Ezri. Most books cost a dollar until she holds up a Frozen book and I ask, “How much does that one cost?” Ezri (as Elsa) says, “Because Frozen is so good, this one is FREE!”
“This bathtub is filled with flying carrots. They are hard to eat. CRUNCH! CRUNCH!” I really have no idea on this one, but I overheard it while she was playing in the bathtub.
“Ivan will be a champion water drinker. I will be a champion swimmer.” Ivan does not like to get in the water. Ezri has been in swim classes for almost a year. Ezri spoke on the differences in their relationship to water.
“Hello, Everybody! Come to my house!!! I am a sweet girl and you will like me if you get to know me.” Now that we can roll down our car windows Ezri has decided to yell out of them to folks in other cars.

She rode the Big Wheel.

She liked sitting on the American Legion motorcycle.

But, the big rig where she got to sit in the cab and pull the REALLY LOUD horn was the best. Okay, the horn scared Ivan, but Ezri thought it was the best.

April 14th, 2014 — Ivan, outside play

Ezri enjoyed making sand birthday cakes for Cosia who is her imaginary friend and since she’s HER imaginary friend she gets decide Cosia’s favorite color and that color is blue so her birthday cake is blue, but Ivan can put green frosting on the cake if he wants and add the candles. Ivan just smiled and said, “I frosting! I frosting!”
Thanks to the Bacons for the sand turtle and the backyard chairs. It’s nice to feel our backyard welcoming us outside again with warmer weather.

Ezri has had two wiggly teeth for a couple months now. She has been carefully brushing and chewing to avoid upsetting them. The adult teeth have been visible behind the wiggly baby ones. This past Sunday she lost one tooth and today the other wiggler went.
None of her original middle four bottom teeth remain.
