There is a smaller white puppy and a bigger white puppy.
There is a smaller Ezri and a bigger Amanda.
Ezri is hoping later we wear similar outfits and re-enact this photo.
Just another CarleSpawn weblog

After the thunderstorm, there was a rainbow.
Even though the kids were in bed (not yet asleep), I got them up to see it. Ivan yelled, “Rainbow Boo-YAH!” Ezri wanted a photo “so we can remember the rainbow forever.”
They asked jokingly if we could go for a walk in their pajamas. I decided that we could. So we caught some Pokemon on our way to the near park. It was thrilling to be up after bedtime.
Ezri really wanted to go pet the bunnies and take them home to feed them carrots and then she promised she would let them go. We did not do these things, but enjoyed seeing all the bunnies in twilight.
Twilight is special when you are rarely awake to see it.

It was so hot we seriously considered sticking our heads in the fountain.
Puppy dog eyes will get you tastes of the funnel cake Meghan was taking home to her mom.
Happy girls in the line waiting to ride a spinny horrifying ride called Zero Gravity. Ivan rode it too. I stayed on the sidelines and watched our backpack.
Ezri and her friend J are up there somewhere on this ride called the rockstar which played some Def Leppard just to calm me down.
Making a “Friendship Statue” with J by the train station.
Riding the carousel with Meghan (who took her on her first carousel ride 5 years ago).

There was one time Ezri came home from first grade with a yellow color on her behavior chart meaning she needed improvement that day. I asked why she was on yellow. She said this and made the face above. She explained that Eli taught her how to do it, but he didn’t get in trouble which is not fair. I asked what she was supposed to be doing when she was making the face. “Listening,” she said. I asked if was Eli making the face when he was supposed to be listening? “I don’t think so,” she answered. It’s all about timing, kid.
Anyway, this is the face I got when I asked her to smile. She was feeling zombie instead. Although, she is also a smiling zombie eyed girl.
July 5th, 2016 — holidays, scouts
There was practicing marching, chanting “We’re Americans,” and singing Penguins Attention and other camp songs in the parade staging area. We spent about an hour and 15 minutes hanging out in the parking lot of the high school waiting. Time with friends and donuts is not really waiting, is it?
The Hillcrest troop let our scouts see if they were strong enough to carry the BIG flag.
On the actual parade route, Ezri passed out candy and carried the banner. She saved some candy in her bucket to pass to Ivan when she saw him on the parade route. He was having trouble getting candy (shyness is costly) and was super happy she had candy for him.

Bubbles, BBQ, and games!
And fizzy drinks, lemon squares, and lotsa cookies.
The kids turned this adorable playhouse into the terrifying spooky house with sound effects and black trash bag hanging in the windows. House of Horrors. The adults who visited fled screaming.
Siggy, the puppy, and the children agree bubbles are good times.
This box had a microscope with slides for the kids to view a fly’s eye up close.
Ivan found a new game to love called Gobblet Gobblers which is like tic-tac-toe with at least twice the strategy – so twice as fun! Enzo introduced Ezri to the pokemon card game. She was all about evolving her zubat.
