Ezri wanted her photo taken as she was pretending to be Raven from Tiny Titans.

Ezri thinks she is Elmo. I think Elmo is eating her whole.

Some recent words from Ezri:

Ezri on the difference between her imaginary friends and the Friendly Aliens.
“My imaginary friends are imaginary. The Friendly Aliens are invisible. That’s why you can’t see them.”
When she speaks in nonsense babbles, she tells me that she is speaking “friendly alien” which only the Friendly Aliens understand.

After her first day at YMCA Camp Kindergarten:
“I made a friend today. A girl came up to me and she said, ‘Do you want to be my friend?’ and I said, ‘Yes.'”

“It’s like we are people who live in our car forever.” After waiting for 4 trains to pass at a railroad crossing.

“Squirtie selfie” Ezri’s words for the act of spraying oneself with a hose.

“When there is no one else. . . and no playdate. . . and the grown-ups are busy. Ivan is there. That’s why I like him. He’s my perfect match.”

After 2 years as one of Mrs. Paul’s Pals, Ezri is done with preschool and will be moving on up to Kindergarten in the fall.

The assembled rising kindergarteners received cheers and claps.

Here she is with Mrs. Paul who Ezri declared to be “the greatest teacher ever. Other kids might think their teacher is the greatest, but the real greatest teacher is Mrs. Paul.”

Ezri loves hearts and sugar, so this candy was perfect.
Though I did have to read each one to her, except that ones that said “I <3 U" she could read those herself. Also, we've gained heaps of freckles in the last two weeks. Both Ezri and I are very freckled.

Ezri calls squirting herself with the garden hose a “squirtie selfie.”
