Here she is as the queen of the web.
Ezri can also now go all the way across the monkey bars at our near park. ALL THE WAY ACROSS with no help. She is truly the amazing Ezri.
Just another CarleSpawn weblog

Here she is as the queen of the web.
Ezri can also now go all the way across the monkey bars at our near park. ALL THE WAY ACROSS with no help. She is truly the amazing Ezri.
July 13th, 2014 — summer fun
For, her first ride Ezri wanted to go on something very fast, very spinny, but that also went up into the air. She was tall enough, so she and her friend J skipped off with nary a bit of trepidation. She got off and declared the Zero Gravity to be “SO MUCH FUN!” She was smiling really wide when I looked up at her in the Zero Gravity ride. I was holding my breath the whole time she was spinning.
More my speed was the Dizzy Dragon which I rode with this crew.
We stopped for play dough ice cream. That’s ice cream with rainbow colored cookie dough chunks in it.
Ezri displaying the tickets she will use to ride the Ferris Wheel. Since we all rode, no photos. I may have needed to hold Ivan’s hand when my cart tipped about on the ascent, Ivan let me.

And we spent a lot of time bathing our toys.
First there was a bath for fairies and smurfs. Here are some drying out after their bath.
Then it was superhero bathtime (and some extra dinosaurs and plastic tools).

Ezri loved her frog prince so much that she wanted to keep it always and not eat it.
I pointed out this was not practical, but we could take photos to keep forever.
Ivan had no such qualms and was all in for frog eating. He said, “It’s chocolate!”
This is Ezri’s farewell photo for her frog. Her dad carefully flattened his wrapper and saved it in her sticker book.
She had to admit he was a delicious frog.
I think Ezri learned that even beautiful things don’t last forever, but we can enjoy them together.

Ivan was into his frozen yogurt. He would not look up for a photo.
Ezri loves everything about a place where you can extrude your own frozen yogurt into a bright pink cup and then put cherries, gummy bears, m&m’s, and two kinds of sprinkles on it.
As we left she said, “We shouldn’t wait too long to come back.”
The next photo is Ezri after leaving braids in overnight to get waves in her hair. I think she is a bit jealous of all the comments on her brother’s luxurious curls.
July 8th, 2014 — outside play
Ezri found a chrysalis on our sidewalk.
Later on we found a monarch fluttering in our backyard.
Because the butterfly was so fast, Ezri named it “Quickie.”
Ezri declared that as “the finder of the butterfly, I get to say and she is a girl.”
Ivan staunchly defended his idea that Quickie was a boy.
I refused to weigh in and said Quickie was whichever gender (s)he was.
Anyone know how to sex a Monarch butterfly?
In other backyard news, we discovered this today and look forward to eating it soon.

We all scream for ice cream.
Ezri has cotton candy confetti and Ivan’s is something else chosen because it has all the colors of the rainbow.
I went for Mocha chip which Ivan shared with me after he finished off his baby cone.
