Saying goodbye for summer back on the last day of school earlier this month

Lazy River, Pool, Waterslides, Sand Play Area – loving it all!
Much not photographed because water + camera = bad.

Everyone got bowling shoes and bumpers in place.

It’s rolling and rolling and rolling.

Doh! Not what I’d hoped for.

Ezri even got a STRIKE.

Bowling was fun.

Ezri really wanted a photo with Tom Watson author of Stick Dog at authorfest.
She dressed up to meet him. Note the velvety dress.
She waited in a long line to see him.
She loves that he usually has a hamburger on his clothing somewhere and teaches kids to draw the stick animal characters from his books.

You can tell by the thick eyelashes and freckles.

The girls packed food boxes to be sent to people in the developing world.

Nothing like signing up for this year’s library summer reading program to remind one to use last year’s prize – a coupon for an ice cream cone at Every Day’s a Sundae. These photos are from about a week ago.

Ezri went for Lighthouse Cherry and Ivan went for Superman ice cream. He used to get Blue Moon but ever since an illness coincided with Blue Moon consumption he’s gone Superman.
