Crown Fountain

Playing in the Crown Fountain in Millenium Park. With temperatures over 90 degress, it was a perfect day to splash.

Kids all waiting for the fountain to spit

And then it spits!

And water pours down the sides

Ivan loved it too.

Ezri & Veena – Woof-woof & Teddy

Veena brought her oldest stuffed pal Teddy over to our house to play with Ezri and her oldest stuffed pal.

Backyard Fun

Brownie Events

I did a scavenger hunt for the Brownies at TY Warner park.

Three teams ran around following my clues through the park.

Grown-ups in charge of teams were left in the dust by excited scouts on the move.

Ezri’s team posed on a bike rack where a clue was found.

Sledding hill is fun to roll down when there’s no snow.

Ziplining

At World Thinking Day the girls shared information about Peru with other troops.

A Weekend with the Grandparents

Eric and I visited friends in Seattle for two days. The grandparents got the kids to ice skating, soccer, Brownie scouts, karate and also took them out for brunch and over to the children’s museum. Whew! Busy! But of all the activities, Ezri’s favorite thing about her weekend with her grandparents was making tea in the backyard with Grandma Liz.
Ivan liked playing Parcheesi with grandpa.

Planting

Ezri helped plant snapdragons, marigolds and a tomato named “Mr. Stripy”

We picked out this giant petunia pot at the Humane Society plant sale.

Hanging with Lori and Jason

Lori has an animoji app that lets you make yourself into a singing poop emoji. The kids are SO IMPRESSED.
Jason is pretty great at doing the voice of an evil genius Guinea Pig.
