All The Grandparents

Ezri enjoyed having all her grandparents together this evening.

She led us in “If You’re Happy and You Know It” and would point out those not singing or clapping with a request for them to join in. “Mama clap!” She did this direction while standing in the middle of the room with the seated parents and grandparents arrayed around her. She also led the alphabet song and performed ring-around-the-rosie happily falling over many times.

Ezri proved she now knows what a grandparent is with statements like “Grandma Liz Dada’s mama.” At one point she smiled big and said, ‘Ezri is granddaughter.” It’s good times being the only grandchild, kiddo.

She got her dad to play follow the leader for multiple circuits through the house. She got Grandma Liz to let her go through all the zippered pockets of her purse.

All this, plus, she received a Hello Kitty birthday balloon and had her first taste of moussaka which she approves of highly and was permitted fudgy pudding cake for dessert.
