Reading Games Team

They’ve named themselves “Panda Pancakes” They will compete in March in a quiz bowl style competition with questions drawn from a reading list of 12 books. These kids are rocking reading!

They sank my battleship!

Star Wars Trivia @ the DG library

This team of 4 girls ranging from 6 – 13 wants you to know that they came in second in the Star Wars trivia game. Answering 49 of 55 questions correctly. They named themselves appropriately in my opinion “the best people.”

Porgs! (13 year olds don’t want to be in the picture)

Christmas Morning

New Pajamas

Santa gave Ezri a plush Tacocat. palindromes!

Eric rocking his new Hawaiian shirt given in anticipation of the luau themed daddy daughter dance at Ez’s school.

Ezri added the ready whip manes to her magical unicorn pancakes.

YAY! Christmas

One more unicorn for the herd (Ezri’s new book told her the proper term for a group of unicorns is a blessing but I like herd).

New totebag with unicorn sized outer pocket

Ivan and Ezri exchanging gifts. Yeah, he got her a plush unicorn which he knew she would like. She does.

This is Ezri at around 8:30 Christmas morning. She has been given a candy cane to eat because she’s been waiting over an hour for Ivan to wake up.

Blame it On the Wolf – a 4th grade performance

Ezri plays the role of Old Red – mistakenly thought to be eaten by the wolf actually on vacation in Hawaii.

Ezri’s First Orchestra Performance

They played Mary Had a Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle and Jingle Bells!

Post performance with some of her biggest fans.

The scene of the entire 4th grade orchestra.

In here for proof that’s she’s there. Look behind the music stand in the upper right corner.

Boorembas over for dinner and holiday celebration

Though Hanukkah ended days ago we played a Hanukkah themed role playing game, spun some dreidels, ate a lovely meal, played with the costume box, and generally enjoyed ourselves.

Ezri really likes her new plush puppycorn and kittencorn. Magical horns are no longer for unicorns only.

Last night of Hanukkah 2018

KBlaus gets said like KaBOOM!

Ezri loved reading her new Unicorn guidebook with her grandparents.

And an earlier-in-the-week photo of Hanukkah pocket joy.
