Ezri went to her second ever professional sporting event today, a Chicago Fire Soccer game. Our friend Jason came along. Ezri had a hot dog, cotton candy, pink lemonade, and occasionally watched the field.

Ivan loves making Sprinkles neigh and saying “Rawry” when Rex is sorry.
Ezri could read the whole book even if she didn’t have it memorized.

Last week in between a glorious spring walk with Meghan and her brother throwing up vividly blue “Blue Moon” ice cream, Ezri paused to read and then follow the directions posted on the hugging tree.

Ivan wasn’t feeling well, so Ezri let him use her pink blankie and pillow.
She read him the stories Wolfie the Bunny, Frog and Fly, and Sam and Dave Dig a Hole.

Getting her Action Cat comic signed and a cool drawing done for her by Art Balthazar. His comics include Tiny Titans and Action Cat which are both bedtime favorites.

Asking, “Would you care for a jelly baby?” Eric gave her a bag of jelly babies. She tried offering them to a few people, but finally got the smile she was looking for from a guy dressed as Matt Smith’s Doctor.

This was Ezri’s favorite cosplayer. King Sombra is the evil tyrant pony who rules the Crystal Empire before it is freed and ruled by the charming Princess Cadence. The costume was so good Ezri skipped over to hug the evil pony and asked I take this photo.

All three of my doctors found their puppy and we snapped this photo with K-9.

The kids arranged leaves, nuts, sticks, and pinecones. In the end the home had a table, a fireplace,a two beds, and assorted things “just to pretty it up.”

Ezri read me this book I Don’t Want to be A Frog and the book Pony Tales by Nora Gaydos.

I read to her a couple chapters of Emma and the Genie by Cornelia Funke.
