Found in Ezri’s take home folder from school

Ezri is lucky to have a friend like Alice.

Pretty sneaky, sis

Doing our homework at Pete’s coffee while the power was out at our house.
Ezri has discovered a love of the Snickerdoodle cookie.

Meghan took Ezri to the restaurant where your food is delivered by small electric train.
It was a Big Sister play date since they are both big sisters.

Unicorn Girl

The tooth fairy brought her a unicorn necklace in response to a note left under her pillow.

Here she is in her unicorn shirt and unicorn necklace with a unicorn horn.

She was four when she explained to me that she could feel a tingling on her forehead where her unicorn horn would be if it was visible instead of made of magic.

Missing tooth traded to fairies for 4 quarters.

Hey, kids, what do you want for lunch?

They agreed on a picnic, but it’s cold out there.
Indoor Picnic wins the day.

Chuck E. Cheese for M’s Birthday

Ezri’s been hanging out with M since they were babies. His mom watches her while I work.
Here they are celebrating M turning 8.

Belatedly opened Christmas Cracker found while putting away the tree stand.

Relaxing in fuzzy robes

Grandma Liz made these much loved robes and accompanying small robes for dolls.
She also made Ezri a lovely skirt that she wanted to wear to a birthday party because it would be a good party skirt with fairy type Pokemon on it. But she decided not to wear the skirt because it was also a painting party and she would be sad if the skirt got paint on it.
Smart girl.

Annual Book Angels

Each year in December our local bookshop does a program where you can select a book to give to a child in need. This year both kids were interested in selecting a kid around their own age and picking out books.

I forgot to note here on the blog what the kids selected. December is a busy time.

Ezri got the book Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier for a 4th grade girl.
Ivan got a DK Sticker book about vehicles and I Wanna Be a Great Big Dinosaur for a 4 year old boy who likes trucks and dinosaurs. They did not have the book Dinotrux which clearly would have been the ideal book. We solved it by getting two books.
I got the book Nameless City for a 7th grader who likes adventure and graphic novels.
