Please Open the Door

Since Mancato is not smart enough to jump the baby gate sometimes he gets trapped on the same side as the toddler.

The cat kept looking at the door like I should open it, but I was busy with the camera.

She did do some nice. if under-appreciated, petting.

I felt it was my duty to open the door when Ezri decided Mancato was a pillow – a nice furry pillow.

I thought that Mancato has been in training all this time precisely to be a nice furry pillow! (And really, if he hasn’t figured out how to jump the baby gate yet, maybe that’s an appropriate job for him.)

He has fattened up as a house cat into a quite nice pillow shape.
Ezri sometimes nestles a bit too roughly into her pillow though.
If little Sushi can jump the gate, big tomcat ought to be able to do it.
Instead, Mancato just yowls to be let through. Big baby.

Amy, your comment made me laugh out loud! And Amanda, I had to reread your comment because I’m frankly shocked that Sushi can jump the gate. Although, Sushi should be greateful to Mankato’s mammoth size. She was never “little Sushi” in my book…
