Ezri really wanted a pinata. Ivan helped picked this one at a party store. It is a ribbon pull pinata, so no small persons were given implements to wield.

As a surprise bonus there was face painting:

Ivan wanted a pink heart which by the end of the night he was wearing on his sleeve in streaks of pink.
