Sunny Day Fun

We played a game where Ezri looked for trees she was big enough to hug. There was a large tree that took all three of us (Ezri, Liz, and I) to make a ring-around-the-tree with our arms. No photographer was available to photograph that tree hug. Here Ezri has found one just her size for hugging.

The glade was full of daffodils.
Ezri played “leap daffodil” and was much more respectful of not knocking over flowers than last year. She walked around and through them.

We took a walk through the woods to Lake Marmo and saw a hawk along the way. This is Liz and Ezri looking at the hawk.

Though she was tired after the walk and asked about being carried, Ezri was reinvigorated by the promise of a bunny snack (gummy fruity treat) and walked all the way back up the trail from the lake on her own. She enjoyed digging in bark mulch and finding sticks. Ivan enjoyed napping and trying to eat the grass.

Here we are after snack under a tree.
