Eric and I would not be into waiting in line to take photos with large costumed characters if Ezri did not LOVE LOVE LOVE them. At Halloween she met Curious George and followed him around. And the love continues with a giant bunny who was a part of the dancing and egg celebration at a park district program. She waited pretty patiently for her turn to meet the bunny which is AMAZING for her age and excitement.
I tried to get her to look at the camera, but she really only had eyes for “Mister Bunny.”
Mister Bunny accepted high fives and hugs. Ezri gave him both.
We also did a very easy paper egg scavenger hunt and there was a rainy day egg grab in the gym. Ezri discovered her plastic egg had tootsie rolls inside. She declared them “yummy” but also was surprised at how sticky they are. Here she is with the classic something-is-stuck-in-my-teeth look.

Make that Mister Bunny ACCEPTED high fives and hugs.
Sorry, my inner journalism professor got out.
Maybe he expected high fives and hugs – ever think of that.
Okay, I’ll change it, professor.
