Here is Ezri wearing a cone on her head and singing Happy Birthday, Charlotte.
ON WORKING:
Ezri: I’m going to work.
Eric: Where do you work?
Ezri: Costco
Eric: You work at Costco?
Ezri: Costco!
Eric: What do you do there?
Ezri: I just play.
Eric: Nice work if you can get it.
Ezri: *big smile*
ON NAMING:
Ezri has realized she has the power to name things.
I offered her the opportunity to name her new sheep finger puppet.
Amanda: What’s his name?
Ezri: Nahhsis
Amanda: Nahhsis?
Ezri: No, Nahshes.
Amanda: Nahshes?
Ezri: No, Nahshes.
Eric: Ignatious?
Ezri No, Nahshes.
Amanda: Nauseous?
Ezri: Yes, yes, he is Nahshes.
Parental Laughter
Amanda: His name is Nauseous?
Ezri: Nahshes bonk balloon. Nahshes bonk balloon. (this while running the sheep puppet into the helium balloon from her birthday)
Eric: How about if we call him Ignatious?
Ezri: No, Nahshes!
We are glad the first toy she named is called Chubby Bear. But, Nauseous the sheep is her second self-named toy.

Amanda,
I hope that you can save all this for Ezri, she will get lots of giggles when she is older. Of course she might also be embarrassed that you have shared too many details of her early life. I love it all!
I hope that I get to meet her one day.
Nahshes the Sheep and the Seven Duffs!
@ Betty – we will have to show Ezri Knoxville one day preferably in the spring time. She would so love to meet you and Laura and, of course, she loves dogs.
