Thanks, Liz, for the matching skirts. More than one mom at the celebration asked me where we got them.
Watching Ducks at Barth Pond
May 8th, 2013 — Ivan, outside play
On this day both were wearing their Spider-man shirts.
As soon as they were dressed in the morning Ezri said, “We are both wearing Spider-man shirts. Let’s Spider-man Boogie!” She then danced around trying to get Ivan to follow her lead. He did a bit of a happy stomp with her. The Spider-man Boogie is fun.
It was a fabulous spring afternoon. The ducks had their attention. Ivan kept pointing and saying, “Quack! Quack!” He almost followed the ducks into the pond a couple of times.
Also, in these photos I think my kids look phenotypically similar.
Daffodils
May 1st, 2013 — arboretum, outside play
Ezri brought along Minnie Mouse for a visit to Daffodil Glade.
At first she didn’t remember last year’s trip, but when she saw the field in bloom. She said, “I remember here!”
She was off and running and much better this year at avoiding daffodil trampling.
Ivan tried really hard to catch up with her, but despite his best efforts he was often far behind.
Chasing after your big sister is hard work. Luckily there were nice resting trees to lean against.
