Ezri is getting out and about

Today we went to library storytime with Miss Colleen who swore she was winging it, but is such a pro no one knew – not even me.
Ezri slept through the storytime which is not a comment on Colleen’s skills – I promise.
She did wake up long enough to show some Junior Room staff her pretty eyes.
Then we went to the bank.
Soon we will pick up Amanda’s new glasses (prescription sunglasses – woo-hoo, I hoping to need these – c’mon sun).
Then we visit the lactation consultant to work on teaching Ezri to put her tongue down for breastfeeding. It works better if the tongue is down.
Ezri is taking a little nap now to rest up for the afternoon activities.
Which for her, are primarily sleeping in her carseat. I am REALLY glad she’s good at sleeping in her carseat.

Here she is in one of the onesie’s decorated at the baby shower.
This is the angry baby cookie onesie – I can’t remember which guest was the artiste.

The Family

blaufamily

At 10 a.m. Ezri has been changed, fed twice, bounced, moisturized, burped and snuggled.
Amanda has yet to brush her teeth or find socks to wear.
I am contemplating leaving the house, but getting Ezri car seat ready and the diaper bag together may mean we just take the stroller around the block for our big outing today. Plus, I would really need to put socks on to go out.

Ezri misses her maternal grandparents

They headed back to Montana yesterday and Ezri will miss being held by them.
See, in this photo they even like her when she is fussy.
grandparental-love

I really enjoyed spending time with my parents and appreciated all the help around the house.
I am hoping Ezri will be like grandparental catnip and make Tam & Mark come visit more often.

Happy Baby

Eric argues after the morning we’ve had poopy baby would be more appropriate.
She’s in her third outfit of Sunday and it isn’t because she’s trying to be a top model baby!

Ezri reading

ezribook

Ezri received a book in the mail from Bonnie at the library today which she looked at during time on her lovely quilt made by Daksha.
We are enjoying time in on quilts on the floor and in our swing, but Ezri’s most favorite thing is still being held or carried around in her sling.

Relaxing with her grandparents.

Ezri enjoys napping on people’s laps.
Tam and Mark enjoy providing laps.

All the cats and Ezri together

This is not a great photo, but it is the first one with all the cats and Ezri hanging out together!
Eric took the photo (so we don’t have the whole family in it).
Yes, those are my monkey pajamas.
