June 5th, 2011 — dress-up
At a friends’ house this morning, Ezri had her first foray into improv theater.
Here she is creating her costume:
With the other players in her role as the prince:
While other moms were assigned the roles of vampire and monster, I was honored with role of horse and attempted to give a rainbow princess a ride to safety. Unfortunately, the vampire could fly. . .
Ezri got to kiss the princess awake – now she wants to kiss other things awake.
I suspect future morning smooches whether I want to wake up or not.
Thanks for a whole lot of fun to this gang of girls and their mothers.

Playing dress-up with Meghan, Ezri put on this ensemble with small hat and fur stole and declared, “I look like a grown-up.”
We can think of no grown-ups in her life who wear this sort of thing.
If she’d put on blue jeans and converse sneakers and said she looked like a grown-up we’d know where that came from.
I figure the idea must be from her books. . .
Here she is all “grown-up.”
Thanks for the photo, Meghan!
