Bubble pull with woof-woof attached. All the girls enjoyed introducing the stuffed animals they’d chosen to accompany them on the trip. I ended up allowing this dog and her GIANT unicorn (aka Goldie) to accompany her because as she says, “I sleep better with Goldie.”

The size iced coffee Amanda needed after an overnight in the museum. Dunkin even themed it with the scout logo.

March for Our Lives – Downers Grove

Heartened by the turn out for our local suburban march organized by North High students.
The students spoke eloquently and Ezri enjoyed her first march.

We’re in the middle of this crowd somewhere.

Of course, she wore her frog hat. A friend shared this photo that just catches us down in the corner.

3/14 is Pi Day

Eric got pizza and berry pie to celebrate.

This photo shows how Ezri feels about Pi Day.

“I think this outfit really suits me”

Ezri took special care to put together a party outfit this morning.
I think she is strongly influenced by her honorary aunt Lori’s love of Anne of Green Gables.
Although, the now too short dress handmade by her grandmother and her narwhal patterned socks are just because they are great.

“To The Moon and Back” PTA Dad & Daughter Dance

Eric knows if we’re talking to the moon & back, we’re talking Apollo astronauts. He went all out for the theme – mostly because being serious about being his daughter’s date feels weird and if we’re going to go weird why not embrace it?

Ezri picked a dress from Target with shiny stars on the skirt and silver sequins. She also has purple tights with stars on them and a pink sparkly costume necklace from Grandma Liz.

The astronaut and the shiny star light up the dance floor.

Happy Birthday, Ezri Bean!

Little brother with an “unbirthday present” from his Aunt Amy.

New stuffed turtle integrating into sea animal community.

New personalized purse

Cookie! From birthday package from Grandma Tam in the background you can see boxes full of Girl Scout cookies being prepared for delivery.

Cake! Patiently waiting nine-year-old.

New doll from Ivan. He gave her enough hints she knew it started with “H.Q.D.” and had already guessed it would be a Harley Quinn Doll. She likes it though.

This is Rosie the new unicorn in the house.

Cake!

Still Cake!
