Ezri, did you like preschool?

“Yes, I did like preschool. I liked my teacher. She is a helper. I liked going outside and playing on the playground.”

Ezri is 100% ready to return to preschool. It was good times.

A couple photos from the afternoon after preschool.

Dirt castles

Ezri has started to become quite creative in her play–particularly when she can wrangle accomplices into her schemes. Today at the park she convinced a friend to make dirt castles with her. It was quite the endeavor, at one point involving dirt being collected from across the field and brought over to the “castle”.  Ivan, of course, was happy to participate.

Ezri makes pudding pops.

She poured the ingredients and stirred.
I poured them into the popsicle molds.

Here she enjoys the finished pop.

Look, I am taller than you.

We are starting to plan for next month’s travel.

Here Ezri is helping test the new luggage and letting us know what’s really important to pack.

At the Mexican restaurant

Ezri, Ivan and I went out to see (one set of) their  grandparents yesterday, and Ezri got to try on this sombrero at dinner.
