{"id":8841,"date":"2020-02-14T14:00:36","date_gmt":"2020-02-14T20:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.ezriblau.com\/?p=8841"},"modified":"2020-02-14T14:00:36","modified_gmt":"2020-02-14T20:00:36","slug":"creature-readers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.ezriblau.com\/?p=8841","title":{"rendered":"Creature Readers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ezri is competing in the reading games, a trivia competition supported by the district on 12 selected books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our team knew we wanted an animal mascot but we could not agree &#8211;  each team member had a different animal to champion &#8211; snail (small but  mighty), pig (smart), unicorn (magical), axolotl (unique), cat (friendly), dolphin (talented), snow leopard (wild).<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What  if we could combine these animals? Luckily, Maura (8th grade)  took on the artistic challenge to combine elements of these animals into  a single creature.
