I wondered about parenting two kids because I’m an only child and two is twice as many kids as one.<\/p>\n

Then I hear them talking together and being friends and genuinely supporting each other. I know it’s good that Ezri has her little brother. He will be the one person who truly understands the insanities of being raised by us.<\/p>\n

Here’s a recently overheard conversation from the backseat of the car while I was driving:<\/p>\n

i: When I grow up I’m going to be a builder.
\ne: What will you build?
\ni: Things people need. . . like Wii U.
\ne: So they can play Mario?
\ni: Yeah, so they can play Mario Maker. And then when I retire I’m gonna be a astronaut.
\ne: I’m going to be a vet.
\ni: When I’m a astronaut I’ll go to Mars cause nobody’s been there and it’s red.
\ne: If you have pets, I’ll take care of them while you are on your mission. Because ya’know I’ll be a vet, so I’ll be good with pets.<\/p>\n
