It is no longer possible to record everything Ezri says in a morning. So, this morning I just selected some phrases. For comparison, here’s my recording of everything she said in two hours in late December. She’s getting even chattier with more full sentences and proper pronoun use. She’s also remembering a lot of things that have happened previously and commenting on them. As, opposed to just speaking about her immediate environment. She tells more mini-narratives now too.

\nLate December 2011<\/strong>
\nI need crocodile. Lyle, Lyle.
\nLook what found – broccoli. He can stand up. (Playing with Baron Von Broccoli doll)
\nDad Downstairs.
\nMama, Ezri Up. (Pick me up)
\nEzri booping. (method of going down stairs on one’s bottom)
\nNot Dada. Mama boop.
\nLyle, Lyle this bin.
\nWe Downstairs. We open this. Ezri have it. (finding and obtaining Lyle toy)
\nIt’s a Rocking Chair. I see it. Ezri see this.
\nEzri go back in this. (climbing in Rocking chair)
\nOne, two, three – What’s Ezri doing? (she’s rocking in the chair and counting)
\nMaybe it’s cards. (?)
\nWhat’s in this? Dada drink it all up. Dada drink. Dada pour. (Ezri found an empty cup)
\nDaddy sing this song. Crocodile sing this song.
\nThis one straw. No straw. Sit back. Have straw. ( comments on her sippy cup)
\nNo jumping on the bed.
\nYes. Mama peep inside. Peep in it.
\nCrumbs. Crumbs. Nibble cats. (yes, there are crumbs on the floor. Ezri thinks cats may be interested)
\nEzri go kitchen wash hands.
\nMommy and Daddy away down the road.
\nEzri fed cats now. Ezri fed the cats. (Ezri helps feed the cats)
\nNo boots anymore. Ezri help. Feet boots. (Putting on her boots)
\nLook Ezri found.
\nMama wipe that. Dirty. (yogurt on the counter and a request for cleaning)
\nSlideshow. (looking at pictures on our computer from iphoto)
\nAsses, asses ALL FALL DOWN! (Ezri’s version ring-around-the rosie)<\/p>\n

Less than 4 months later on April 11<\/strong>
\nIt’s daytime. Where did night time go?
\nYogurt. Vanilla!
\nIt’s Chomper. Fingers. Fingers. (holding a toy with a mouth that opens and closes and has been known to chomp fingers)
\nNo, this shirt. I wear it like a hat. (What to do when she really wants to wear a shirt she has outgrown)
\nI want Dada.
\nOh yeah! Oh yeah!
\nWhatcha doing, dada?
\nHe wears fluff. (pointing at the cat)
\nFamily Hug.
\nHappy Happy Happy Peek-a-boo! (this is a song)
\nNo brush Ezri’s hair, I don’t like it. Stop. Stop!
\nWhat’s that? Put it here.
\nWhere is Ezri’s nose?
\nBlue car.
\nEzri drink water.
\nI put it on Ezri self. (wanting to put on her own shoes)
\nI need a sweater.
\nA B C D E F G H I J K L (got distracted at L)
\nI want to put it on Ezri’s lips. Hinga Hinga (reaching for chapstick).
\nOther Julia has a bunny. (response to photo of a friend with a bunny)
\nPiggy Bank. Weeeeeee! (She found a quarter on the floor and wanted to deposit it)
\nZombie goes to the park. And then we go home. (?)
\nBlue car has lunch. It’s yummy . (comment on filling the gas tank)
\nJason has a banjo. I saw it. (comment while singing I’ve been working on the railroad)
\nThat’s a band-aid. It’s from Ezri’s bump.
\nIt’s nice when Julia and Thora come to Ezri’s birthday.
\nI blowed on it. (what you do when pizza is too hot)
\nThank you, mama.
\nIt’s Ezri’s beep beep car. I’m ready to go to the park.
\nWootini (sp?) Your name is Wootini. Squirrel kiss Wootini. Thanks, squirrel. Thank you very much. (here a ceramic squirrel is kissing a garden Jawa named Wootini)
